Mission:

The Purrfect Catpuccino is a community-centered cat cafe that combines coffee, adoptable cats, and a platform for Latina entrepreneurs. We aim to create a welcoming space for relaxation, empowerment, and connection while hosting events like markets, open mics, and more. Through our nonprofit, Hayley’s Place, we also provide transitional housing, mental health support, and job training in renewable energy, empowering young Latina women to thrive.

Vision:

Inspired by Hayley’s dream, we envision a community where people and animals thrive together. Through collaboration with local shelters, businesses, and nonprofits, we aim to create a hub of support that uplifts our community’s most vulnerable members, especially young Latina women.

Impact:

The Purrfect Catpuccino will address critical issues like housing instability, limited job opportunities, and mental health challenges. Latina teens face alarming rates of mental health struggles, with about 1 in 4 reporting having seriously considered suicide, and approximately 15% having attempted it. Our focus will be on empowering Latina women through holistic support that builds both emotional and economic resilience.
