A brief history
The idea of owning a cat cafe was my late daughter Hayley’s dream. She had a deep love for cats and almost an equal love for coffee, something that always made us smile. I didn’t even know what a cat cafe was until she introduced us to the concept, as she was exploring her path toward college. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to visit one until after she lost her battle with mental health on August 6, 2023.
On our first family vacation without her, my other daughter Rosy, my son Ethan, and I stopped by HabiCat in Clayton, GA. It was there that the vision for The Purrfect Catpuccino became clear to me: this wouldn’t just be a cafe, but a space that could truly honor Hayley’s dream while making a meaningful impact in our community.
